Juicy and tasty Apple Marzipan Cake that melts in your mouth! Simple and Easy to make! 

Juicy and tasty cake, which will be a hit. Bake it preferably 1-2 days in advance, and store it in the fridge - it almost only gets better. 

Ingredients - Apple Marzipan Cake 

175 g marzipan

½ vanilla pod

200 g soft butter

200 g sugar

4 egg

75 g wheat flour

Pinch salt

3 apples

1½ tbsp sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

50 g cashew nuts

1 tsp icing sugar for sprinkling


How to do it

1. Turn on the oven at 175° and place baking paper in the form.

2. Grate the marzipan on the coarse side of a grater. 

3. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut the apples into cubes. 

4. Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla pod. 


5. Chop the cashew nuts.

6. Mix the marzipan, soft butter, sugar and vanilla bean together lightly in a bowl with an electric mixer. 

7. Add the eggs, and beat it briefly. 

8. Stir the flour and salt into the mix. 



9. Sprinkle the apple cubes over the cake in an even layers. 

10. Press them lightly into the mix. 

11. Sprinkle sugar over the apples 

12. Sprinkle cinnamon

13. Sprinkle the chopped cashew nuts. 

14. Bake the cake in a 20cm spring form in a preheated oven for 45 minutes, until it is cooked through, but still a little soft in the middle.

15. Remove the cake from the oven and cool it on a baking rack.


16. Sift a little icing sugar over the cake pieces. 

17. This cake can be served warm or cold, and will serve 8-10 people.
