Delicious Bounty Cake that melts in your mouth! Simple and easy to make!
Ingredients - Chocolate Cake
3 eggs
80 g sugar
A pinch of salt
30ml vegetable oil
30 ml milk
80g Flour
20g Cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
How to do it:
- Whisk egg, suger and salt until slightly fluffy (10-15 min)
- Add the oil
- Add the milk
- Sieve and mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder in two portions.
- Bake the cake in a 20cm spring form in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
- Divide the cake into three slices after the cake is fully cooled.
Ingredients - Coconut Filling
80g sugar
200ml milk
100g condensed milk
100g butter
200g desiccated coconut
How to do it:
- Add suger, milk, condensed milk and butter into a pot.
- Cook it over medium heat
- Add the desiccated coconut and bring to boil and cook for 3 min.
- Let it cool down
Ingredients - Chocolate Ganache
150g Chocolate
30ml Vegetable oil
How to do it:
- Melt the chocolate over a warm bath
- Add the oil
Assembling and decorating:
- Add 1 layer of the cake
- Brush with milk
- Add half of the filling
- Add 1 layer of cake
- Brush with milk
- Add the other half of the filling
- Add the last layer of the cake
- Brush with milk
- Keep in the fridge for 2-3 hrs minimum
- Take out the cake and decorate with the chocolate ganache
- Keep in the fridge for 10-15 min before serving
- This cake serves for 8-10 people.
